The Guerrilla story.

Welcome to Guerrilla Establishment

Creating career confidence and business courage.

We are a not-for-profit organisation providing ongoing education, support and personal development to Perth students, graduates and workplaces. We partner with industry to provide peer-to-peer “hands on” learning, mentoring and development.

We host events both in-house and at venues around Perth, all designed to build community, upskill individuals and create opportunity that would otherwise not exist.

The amount of unlocked potential in Perth is the key to evolving our “little” city into a force to be reckoned with. So we choose to support the game-changers in waiting who just need a little push to make it happen.

When we aren’t using or studio, others are. We offer space hire options ranging from a single desk through to our full workshop and event space.

How can we help you?

IT ALL STARTED WITH A VISION, DEADLINES AND VERY LITTLE SLEEP.

The Guerrilla Story goes a little something like this.

We met in 2013 while studying Interior Design as “mature-aged-but-not-so-old” students doing our second (maybe third or fourth… ) qualification and with some solid life experience behind us.

In amongst those foggy, sleep deprived, coffee driven years, bouncing from deadline to deadline we still managed to identify that educational institutions couldn’t do it all. It was impossible to provide all the skills, training and mentoring needed for graduates to take that leap confidently out into the “big wide world”.

The concept for Guerrilla Establishment started as an assessment piece to design, brand and market a creative hub in Perth and the rest, as they say, is history.

We officially launched in 2015 and started delivering internships, workshops and mentoring. It very quickly became glaringly obvious that the need to upskill didn’t end at graduate level. There were employees, teachers, small business owners and career-changers who had the need and desire to learn more.

And like everything in life, we evolved. We secured the generous support of Finbar Property Group and Winc and with that, the hope of having our own studio became a reality.

We’ve now run hundreds of workshops and events and have met so many epic humans along the way.

2020 has brought with it a new set of challenges, but we didn’t call ourselves Guerrilla for nothing. Like always we will assess what our community needs from us and do everything we can to get it done.

A walk down memory lane.
